Abstract

We would like to report three cases of aggressive periodontitis, wherein the implants were placed at the same time as the extractions. In the three cases, a significant amount of allogenic bone grafting was necessary as the residual bone was very thin due to severe periodontal disease, making it difficult to achieve initial stability. The outcomes were good with minimally invasive implant surgery using the MagiCore implant. Here, we did not perform a flap surgery nor did we insist on primary wound closure, but rather actively used the concept of secondary wound healing.
